The Truth sound is a mixture of Rhythm & Blues and Neo-Soul.

"My music is influenced by so many great vocalists but at the same time…everyone has their own sense of style…of SOUL...everyone's Blues has a different Rhythm. That is what I am bringing; my own Rhythm. My ambitions...I want to be the most felt soul artist out there...through my vocals and my lyrics and my poetry...I don't want people to just feel me...I want them to embrace what I am saying and understand that this is real life...these things happen...but it's not the end". The passion behind her music is heard in her lyrics and felt in the melodies she sings.

Truth is a New York/New Jersey native who has been singing and writing for over a decade. Truth began recording sessions at the age of 15 singing background vocals for various artists in the New Jersey area. Inspired by reading poetry and life events, she began writing at the age of 13; she began to pen her own songs soon thereafter.

"I think the struggle but joy of being a single mother and following my dreams is what drives me; the love of my family and the love of music; the knowledge that those two things are what keeps me alive. There are definitely still childhood demons that I fight with of course but I will get through that in time. Acceptance. A lot of things occurred in my life starting at a young age where, my only outlet…was poetry…and once I was able to add music to that, not only did I find a release, but I found a talent that I never knew I had, and that was to put love into words…to make music."

.. She is working on projects

She is working on projects with various producers in Los Angeles, Atlanta, and New York City.

Currently, Truth is working on private projects for three artists in the states and one internationally while beginning work on her solo project. She plans on performing her new work in October in various locations internationally.

Truth creates melodies replete with love, pain, strength, lust, endurance, perseverance, and enlightenment. Writing is her way of healing, growing, and living. The message she brings in all of her songs is simple: Everything is Possible, So CLAIM Victory!
